shift

I have an automatic in my car. It goes 2 d over d. How do I get it to go 1 2 d over d. Any help will work thank you

There is a plastic tab on the bottom of the plastic shifter panel that keeps the shifter from going down to first. You need to break it off and then your good to go!

Sometimes transmission shops such as Lee Miles will block out first gear shifting when they do a transmission job.
