Default Spark plug problems w/ lt1

Every time i have questions i post under this forum(LT1-LT4 mods) lol, i hope this the right place to be posting. Anyway on my lt1 i have hooker headers. They get in the way of 2 spark plugs, meaning my standard spark plug socket cannot fit onto the spark plug. I found this fbody specific socket

apparently it can get every spark plug removed without taking the headers off. Anyone have similar experiences?

I use an open end ratcheting wrench and a regular spark plug socket with my MAC mid's. Works great!

that shorty socket will work....few places make "header" sockets

or...just take a standard plug socket, cut the head down some (where you put a box or open wrench on) and cut out one of the 5 sides of the socket. Now the socket will "drop" down over a plug, slide it forward and then use the open end wrench to turn it lose, then take out rest of way by hand

$3 socket & dermal and grinder you are set

I just took a standard plug socket, cut it down short, drilled out the center so the plug fits through and put it on the plugs. Use a wrench and get them out. Basically what they sell but I did it for free.
