Default T56 removal help

Hi how is it going I pulled the motor and tranny to replace the blown motor I broke the bell housing from the block it moved a bout 2 inches i can not get it to move anymore if someone could help me I woulad appreciate it thanks

Push them back together, grab the clutch fork, and pull it radially outward from the input shaft.

Yep, the fork is still on the throwout bearing, if you've been pulling on it too hard, you might have broken the clip on the bearing (I did that a couple weeks ago and had to get a new clutch because of it)

well, i pulled the thing until i broke off part of the throwout bearing so it all slid out then. Like was said, the right way to do it (now i know, haha) is to pull the fork out away from the tranny

Got it off had to break it from the bell housing and remove the fork everything looks to be ok

It would not slide I had to remove it didn't notice any damage to the throw out bearing or fork

So you're saying your only reason for replacing the clutch was because of the T/O bearing? Because that was definitely not needed.

Not needed, but with as much as a new TO cost, i decided to just get it with a new clutch, since the old clutch had a decent amount of wear on it
