Default No start- no spark at coil. Testing procedures

Hi guys. My car is cranking over but will not start. It is not misfiring so I checked to see if there is any spark. There is not any at the plug wire going to the opti.

I read in the Haynes manual that I should check that there is voltage going into the ignition module that is attached to my coil (msd coil). However, the wiring scematic in the manual doesn't match the 4 wires going into the ignition module.

The manual said (white, white/black, pink/black, engine ground; I'd assume black for that).

I'm seeing (white, black, white, pink)

Am I seeing this correctly? The wires are super old and a little dirty. I tried to scrape away the filth to see the colors better.

I checked the coil fuse in the fuse box and it was okay. Car is a 92 y body so it may be slightly different.

Any advice or info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I would start by scanning it for codes. That will save you a lot of effort troubleshooting the problem.

Your post wasn't exactly clear but did you check both sides of the wire leading from the coil to the opti? I have had two of those wires go bad somewhere in the middle and before I knew to look at that it gave me all sorts of headaches.

tested the a and d terminals and saw over 10 volts. I need to test b once the wife gets home... I'll keep you posted. Thanks for passing on that detailed link.
