Default What would I run?

Never been to the track and probably never will, still have the 10 bolt for now, but I am a bit curious what time I would be able to get, assuming I know how to drive/launch.

93 z28 6 speed, swapped to m29 t56

pacesetter long tube headers
electric water pump
ls1 aluminum driveshaft
4.10 gears
ac delete
underdrive/lightweight crank pulley
tune by soloman/lt1pcmtuning
160* thermostat
no cat, full 3" piping through magnaflow muffler
airfoil
k&n CAI
tb bypass
egr delete

race weight with me is 3310lbs.

At least a 14.5 at 95mph. Now take it to the track and prove me wrong. It's likely I'm wrong, but track prep and DA will determine that.

I would say mid 13s since you have a tin can, but, since you have never been and you have a manual...

14.3@108

You think 108 at 3000+ feet? He's got cooler weather than me though.

I think a 13.5@105mph may be possible, that is a lot of weight he cut out of that thing.... 3300lbs with driver, that's with someone banging gears pretty good

Any estimates assuming I'm sea level? I'm just curious as to what I'd be comparable to on the road nowadays.

Depending on the overall condition of the motor will determined as well. Thats a 22 year old LT1. You need some seat time and get the feel for it. I wouldn't be surprise on your first run running in the 15's. And as they say, once you hit the track, you will get hooked and catch the bug to wanna go faster, never fails.Lol. GL

With those same mods and same weight I went 12.53 at 110.33 at MIR, but it took alot of seat time to get there. Ill say 14.0 at 101 your first day out.

Well since you have a 10 bolt and are *****-footing it, you'll keep up with any mid-life crisis in a modern muscle/sports car. What did you do to achieve a 3310 "race" weight and what do you weigh?

The 1st gear ratio on those transmissions are favorable for a good 60' if you can get traction, however of course the 10-bolt does come into question. Being at the elevation you are it's fair to say you'd be in the mid 13's and probably in the mid 12's at a sea level track when you figure out how to launch and shift at the most optimal shift points.

Not sure which is more personal, asking for body weight or car weight. It's a known fact how some of you weight removers don't like talking about how much your car weighs.
