thx guys...kids are a bit older now...so should have more time to devote to the car again...the car needed a lot of attention from not having the funds...everything is fresh on this build...should put a hurting on the local LS/mustang crowd

11:1...a bit lower than I would have liked....but new pistons were not in the budget

 

No worries, pump gas CR just means its automatically a street car no matter what .

 

this car is a "street" car...it will have tags/inspection/etc etc....couldn't make the black car street legal anymore so stuffed the go fast goodies in a different body.

The black car is going under the knife for some much needed chassis upgrades...might move everything back and try for 8s

 

Did you have to run a small base circle cam with your 396 set up? Care to share the actual cam specs? Also, what rods and pistons did you use?
