The OP says it doesn't matter who ported the heads or what brand they are that it has nothing to do with horsepower? I have seen power losses from crappy porting, line up different brand heads and you will see a difference in HP, might not be a lot, but it does matter. Some you can port and it doesn't make much difference and others will make a lot..Actually I think he will make at lease 550 to the wheels..

I know two guys running LT4 corvettes with complete forged 383 strokes bottom ends on 11.0:1 compression.
each has AFR 205 heads
each have full exhaust with 3 inch open duels
they both put down 440 to the wheels horse power
they both put down 400 torque to the wheels
