Headers which one to use

If you plan to keep the car, there are affordable stainless steel alternatives. Personally, I wouldn't even consider mild steel headers.

It would help if you told us what year your car is. Go to the USER CP tab on the top of the page and click "edit signature" Add in your car info and it will show up every time you post.
If you have a '93, you need to convert it to heated 02 sensors.
If you have a 94-95, you just need extensions.
If you have a 96-97, you need extensions, and you can either leave the rear 02 sensors or delete them, but you will need a tune for that. You should get a tune anyway after headers if you're deleted EGR and the AIR pump.

Well....that's up to you. I'm a gear head through and though like most guys here, so I spend money on parts to make my car go faster which equals more enjoyment for me, plus I love wrenching. If that doesn't suit you, leave your car stock. It's worth it in terms of more power and better sounds from your car, but it's your money, do what you want.

And really, if you have to ask if it's all worth it, you're in the wrong hobby. Building and tinkering on cars is about the worst "investment" there is, but that's not why I do it, it's just a hobby that makes me happy and that's all that matters to me.
If you're thinking ls swap you may want to consider the rarity of your Firehawk before doing something like that. There were only 609 made. It's your car and you can do anything you want. If you're looking for more power from the LT1 headers are a prerequisite.

I was going to buy the pace setters armour coat but I am going to wait and save for the kooks stainlesss. Unless someone else knows where to get some nice stainlesss headers for cheaper
