New 24X conversion kit for LTX?
Looks like it retains the stock harness with no modification and the reluctor wheel and sensors are outside the timing cover, so only the hub needs to be removed and replaced. Supposed to be coming out this fall, so I will keep any eye on this.
The hubs - Is he making four different ones for the four lt1 hubs that are available?
The pcm - if you fry one can you grab another 411 pcm and transfer over the adapter, or is the onfrom them the only option? I don't want to have an awesome system for a few years, watch the company go belly up, then be screwed with nothing to replace it with. The rest of the parts are solid or serviceable with off the shelf parts. I just don't want to see another Delteq support issue.
I take that as they did a more complicated internal repinning. I would possibly opt to save money and not buy one of their PCM/s and just re-pin my factory harness so I won't have to go back to them if something happens.

If someone was so inclined I bet you could build a halfmoon style shield to keep road grime from getting kicked up and mount it off the oil pan bolts.
I assume the TH setup is less than EFI's 120-00067 kit for $540...if not it will be a struggle to sell it since the EFI setup has been proven out numerous times over. Need to sell it at an attractive price to sway people away from EFI.
Either kit you still need a timing cover, modified (or new) harness, coils, coil bracket, PCM and tune.

Click on which one you want, As far as crap getting in the relucter ring Im sure they are using a hall cell that reads something magnetic, Kind of like an ABS wheel/sensor. If you pull those off Comercial vehicles they are usually caked with greas but still work fine.
So the way I see it is can I find a 96-97 timing cover for the difference of the 2 kits to make it worth it? Plus the fact that it is the new kid on the block in terms of reliability that needs to prove itself.
I do like the idea of it being all external with no need to mess with the timing cover and install reluctor wheels.
