With the caps off, even with a nsa, that seems short, but with the cap on i'd think golden. I'm going with scorpion narrow body nsa's, trickflow plates, and comp pushrods. The cam is a CC503
So I'm going to order a spring height micrometer and pushrod tool. Can't seem to find a shop around the metro detroit area to mess with it for reasonable money before November.

Boosted..
from your pic it looks like a NSA RR would be no issue without a cap
If you intend to measure wtf the installed height of your springs are with a spring height tool like in #22....make sure that piston is TDC before you remove the spring so the valve does not drop into the cyl. It will drop around 1/4" with it at TDC unless you use air in the cyl.
your beehives spec for a 1.800" installed height. If your heads were not machined at the spring pockets they will wind up around 1.750-1.7xx. Not a big issue with the 503 cam but you will have slightly more seat & open spring pressure than if installed at 1.800".
I would get Comp ultra Pro Mags NSA and try those without caps

I'm going to double check the height, as I know they have not been machined. Just for my own peace of mind at this point.
Just going to setup the new Scorpions this weekend with the GP, and pushrods. See what happens, I'd cry if this was all for nothing on a broken bottom end.

Ended up leaving the caps on, as I can't get one off for some reason. Only have one side done with the guide plates and new pushrods. Tomorrow I'll install the others and adjust them all etc
