Default Speed Engineering Stainless Headers any good?

Anyone used the Speed Engineering LTs? What did you think? Seems like a good price.

Why not just get the stainless steel Texas speed parts Longtubes for just a bit more cash? I have them and they got great, easy to install don't hit or rub against anything, they sound nice and I've ran mine probably 11k, maybe longer and they still are shining like a diamond!

Thanks for the positive feedback.

I have to agree with this person. We have had a lot of good luck from our LTx headers as far as fit and finish. They come in @ $259.99 for the stainless steel headers plus $40 for the necessary O2 extensions. We can also include Pacesetter's off-road y-pipe for $160. Let us know if we can help in any way possible. Thanks!

Kind of regret buying this when I could've waited a little bit longer for some pacesetter long tubes. But they rub crazy

Ummmmm, I would advise to simply save longer and buy the headers that you would ultimately want to buy. Do it once and do it right. Before you say, you can not afford Kooks, ARH or LPP.....I advised to save longer and be happier in the end. You will then never ask or wonder if you left any ponies on the table. Please no disrespect intended, but rather my opinion.

Meh, my TSP perform plenty well for me. I can't justify paying 800-1100$ for headers for maybe 5 or so more ponys. I also wish I had a watts link for my car, but I can't justify paying 900$ when my car originally only costed 700$... So I made do with good tubular control arms w/ relo brackets and good 3. SFC's etc...

The Pacesetters have clearance issues as well. Ask me how I know. I have more dents than a trailer house in a tornado on my Pacesetters. Plus, they are a mild steel header whereas our TSP headers are stainless.

If I still drove my LT1 car enough to worry about it, I would swap from the Pacesetters I have now to ours, but the car just sits and collects dust now.

I've installed pacesetters on my car and helped a friend with his. No issues at all.

The pricier headers are stepped with merge collectors, higher quality stainless, and made here in 'murrica. If you're going for power beyond the average h/c build then they're worth every penny.

I don't think they sell those headers anymore.
