Default pcmforless tuning?
can anyone tell me anything about pcmforless? i have never heard of them. has anyone had their pcm tuned by them? how long have they been tuning? anything will help thanks!!!

They're a very reputable shop. I had my PCM tuned by Bryan and he did a great job. Plus, you just can't beat the price. I recommend them.

I second that I have had 3 of them done bye him. He is good , Dont think twice about it. On the other hand I am selling my LT1-EDIT . Incase you would like to do it your self.

how easy is the lt1 edit to use and how much? would i have to go buy a new cable? would i have to reregister anything?

Also used PCMforless for my tune. I dealt with Alvin for my 93 but Ive heard good things about them no matter who you deal with.

I'm not pleased with PCM, i only ganed 5rwhp on the dyno over stock tune. Plus he didn't know that at higher altitudes the car wont run in 100 kpa so i wasn't getting the advanced timing that i payed for. When i bought the tune he knew where i live at 3600ft.

I think his tunes are ok, but you might get more hp from somewhere else, just my .02

He is ok for a base tune, but I don't think you get the true program your car needs unless it is done in shop....Yeah you can't beat his price, but a good tuner on the dyno and on the road will really outdo his numbers.....

If your pretty much stock I would say go with the PCM4LESS, if you are modded, look for a local shop than can tune it with there software....
