Which rear end should i go with
How much of a street strip car will determine if a spool is good for him. A spool will beat up your suspension and wear your tires quicker. Wavetracs have survived quite well in many high hp cars and have a lifetime warranty in case anything happens.
Unless he has very high power goals or the car spends most of it's time on the track, a spool provides little benefit outside of cost and weight savings.
