Just wanted to let people here know that we just kicked off a pretty slick LT1 short block GP! Here's the details...

How much boost could that 383 handle.
Whats the hp diff between the 355-383-396.(with the same topend)

stroker will definately add some hp, but it wont really give you a whole lot of HP difference. What you look for in a stroker is tq...and with any of those three you should gain considerable tq if the heads and cam are matched nicely for what you want.

What im looking for is the best base hp and tq motor. But can handle some serious boost,

Looks like he ain't gonna answer. I want to know if the 383 short has a forged crank. I doesn't say.

I know the Eagle ESP stuff is cast.

The ESp Eagle cranks are cast. We can do a forged it is just going to cost a little more.
