i found one but its 300 and everything else i found they want to get rid of the motor not just the bare block just seeing if i can find anything cheaper

 

I have a locked up engine I would sell for $200 with the heads on it. No idea why it's locked. Haven't gotten into it.

 

I have a bare block still. It is a 4 bolt and willing to ship. Will need bore/hone . Deck and line hone. Typical machine work. It is standard bore never been machined. I have tried to sell it many times but always get someone that is not serious and wastes my time. If you are serious let me know but please don't waste my time.

They have LT1 blocks on eBay for $75 bucks

 

Craigslist, I don't know if its bare bones around you but I can get a fully dressed lt1 around here for $400, and shortblocks for $200

 

Where in California ? I occasionally make trips to the bay from AZ.
