Can I use this flpro gasket with ported stock LT1 castings
Can I use this felpro gasket?
"For small chambered aluminum race heads: Pre-Flattened Steel
Bore: 4.080''
Compressed Thickness: .039''
The usual 1074 gasket is the same thickness however the bore size is 4.125 on that on. I dont like a lot of dead space left by the gasket around the cylinders, is there any reason I couldnt use this, besides it making the compresion a bit higher?
