Header install problem...
use a liquid wrench type spray, not wd-40. it works a little better and try to twist it around then pull it out. if you do use the liquid wrench stuff you might want to change your oil because i dont know how they react to each other....thats what got mine out the first time
that sux man....before you drop your pan which is a pita try to use a piece of round stock and a hammer to tap out the stuck piece into the oil pan if its not already. then go buy a bunch of cheap oil so you can keep draining it to see if it comes out with the oil. even jack up just the oppisite side of the car from the drain plug. if that doesnt work and you do have to drop the pan it would be a good time to get a high flow/volume oil pump since low oil pressure is a common problem. and remove the big sensor on the side of your pan before you drop it....i broke mine and it was around 80$ to replace.....good luck
try to get a hammer and punch(similar size to the hole) and try to punch the piece into the oil pan. Once its in the oil pan, get a strong magnet and bring the broken piece of dipstick to the drain hole nad pull it out. You definately dont want to drop the pan to get it out if you dont have to.
Finally got it out, but putting the headers in was a PITA, a major PITA...the pass. side headers just fit right up there....but the drivers side was UNREAL, the #1 primary is touching the wheel well, the #3 primary is hitting the steering linkage.....and we had to cut some **** outta the K-member. My car has a salvage title, I was not involved in teh cars wreck, 2 owners before me had done it. But that car must have been hammered....so when I'm done with the headers I am going to take it to a body shop and have them pull the frame. And I have heat the #3 primary and bend it in a little so the steering linkage will stop hitting it.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated...
