Need opinions Hey. First post here as title says I'm seeking opinion here goes. I've found a 95 Camaro 5 speed lt1. The fellow says the trans is good but the motor knocks. He wants 500 for the car. From my nickel of research it sounds like it's got a spun bearing. I was thinking if I got it and put a new crank rods maybe even an oil pump it would be a sweet engine again. Provided the block itself ain't chewed up.
For what it's worth everything would be coming off this car anyway - this car would be organ donor only.

If it's a t56 car it's worth atleast double what you're paying for it just for the drive train assuming it's in good working order. If the rear end is in decent shape along with the interior maybe another grand.
So you could part it out, again assuming good condition, and pocket some cash.
