Default CC503 stall reccomendations?

I have a cc503 cam in a 355 with 3:42 rear end gears and I was wondering what stall size and brand you all would reccomend me. I will never go to the track with this car, I just daily drive it and like to do the occasional stoplight pull with it. I want something budget friendly and something that will be dependable.

"will never go to the track"....."budget friendly" ......
I'd go with a Street Edge 3000 stall (9.5").

I vote Yank SS3200 since it's a daily driver that won't see track time. I use to run the SS3600 and the cc503 cam and it was awesome but I think the 3200 would be more appropriate in your case. Yanks aren't budget friendly but they are well worth what they cost. I would maybe look for a used one if a new one is out of your budget.

Yep, SS3200 would be ideal if it's within your budget. It will drive just slightly tighter than the Edge 3000 I mentioned.

Will the yank ss converter feel stock under normal driving conditions? Is a transmission cooler necessary
or can I add one later? I am on a budget but I want to know if this would be the best converter for me even though I won't see the track?

A trans cooler is a must no matter what converter you choose. I found this out the hard way. I've been running the B&M 70264 cooler for many many years and it's under $100.

My best friend has a Yank SS3200 in his car. You hardly know the converter is there until you begin to lay into it which is ideal for a DD in my opinion. It's a very tight converter, whatever converter you end up choosing just make sure it's pretty tight.

Would a revmax 3500 stall be to much? Reason I ask is because I can get a used one for
cheap.

Too much in my opinion.
I don't know about their quality, but I'll bet money it'll feel looser than the Yank SS3600 that was first suggested. I wouldn't want it in a daily driver.

I agree.

IMO, do it once and do it right. If you go the cheap route and end up disliking the converter it's going to cost you more money and time in the end.
