For what it's worth, I think I'm pushing 400 at the crank right now. 8.3@89mph in the 1/8th is my best so far.

I have a good friend who has an '05 C6 auto. He has run a best of 8.3@88. That LS2 machine is rated a 400 if I'm not mistaken. He thinks I have more than 400 as I'm out trapping him and I've got more weight.

With the right tire and suspension combo, these things should be good for high 7's easy.

One thing that is hurting me is that my buddy's C6 Vette is killing me off the line. I have the slightly better time and trap speed, but I have not beat him to the finish line(although I'm pulling on him at the end...might be a 6 speed advantage though....). I have a low rpm bog that I think is tuning related. Once I get rid of that issue, I'm sure I'll drop a tenth or two.

Thanks. I still haven't decided if I'm going to stick with the 4.56's or go 4.10's. I am leaning towards keeping what I have now because I'll have to clutch a lot more with 4.10's than I do now. Dunno...

Congrats on getting her back to an enjoyable state. I would vote 4.10s, I had 4.33s for a while and it drove me nuts on the highway being at 3000rpm, if your new build has good manners, and I suck at geography but I'm pretty sure Wyoming has less stop sign and stop light hills than NOVA, so 4.10s might be more enjoyable while not leaving you slipping the clutch like crazy from stops on hills.

Thanks. The area I live in the majority of roads are 40mph. There's no reason to get on the freeway unless I'm going to the next city or out of state.

By all means don't use this as a reference to anything. All I know is the car feels strong and if the actual HP numbers are accurate then this is good for mid to low 12's at this altitude. Even at 20 years this thing is comfortable enough to road trip anywhere even with how harsh the ride is. I'll probably hold onto this car until I'm too old to even get in or out of it.

Man I'm a little dissapointed, only put down 317hp to the ground. Seems a bit low considering the mods and other people's numbers. Mustang Dyno. I have pics and Vids I'll upload a bit later to my thread I'll post

Mustang dynos are known to read "low"...

dyno operator, SAE vs STP will be a "variable" for any dyno pull

take it to the track and get a few 1/4 mi timeslips

How much did you pay someone else to build your motor?

Finally went to an 1/8mi track. Ran a best of 8.02 @ 87mph with a 1.88 60' spinning horribly. Track prep was awful. Should have been in the 1.5 range. Second best run was an 8.04 @ 89mph with the same 60'. Track is at 4900' elevation. It was 98* and DA was close to 9000'. Very happy with the results.

First run of the day. Ended up being an 8.2 @ 86mph. Sad!

First video link mentions needing permission to view.

Looks like it's running well! I'd love to have a 1.8 sixty. =)

LoL, that was me on my first time to the track. I was up against a buddy in a modded 240SX when the tree turned green my foot slipped off the clutch and flat stalled it(my 3rd or 4th run). The announcer had a fun time with that one. I've got it on video around here some where. I need to get them up on youtube one day.

Funny story.....a different buddy of mine bet me a drink that on our first run the 240SX would beat me to the finish. I took the bet and told him he was crazy. What I didn't know was that they had planned for the 240 to leave on the first yellow.... thus technically, beating me to the line.

Their plan was perfect except that the track ended up screwing them. When we lined up, they hit us with the pro tree. They had no idea(me either) that Piedmont always runs the pro tree for everyone. Even then, with his drag experience, he almost beat me as I was soooooo late off the line....but I managed to come around him on the top end of the track. I went to him and was like see...no way that was going to happen.

LoL, then he told me about the master plan gone wrong. He did pay up on the drink. =)
