STP is roughly 4% higher then SAE, so still a solid 430rwhp .

Which is slightly more than with the solid roller cam. I guess I could've taken off the cutout and see if I would've gained another 10hp, but couldn't be bothered. Just wanted to make sure A/F was good to go. I also think the tach signal is out of whack. I have a 6200 pill on my shift light now and it definitely wants to pull past that. I think peak is more along the lines of 6300 to 6500rpm. What has been confirmed on now a second dyno is how broad the torque curve is, which is better than what the solid cam produced.

Thanks. I forgot to ask what factor was used. To me it's a bit too smooth.

Thanks. Ain't no tracks around me on account I live in the high desert country in BFE at 4700' elevation. Car dynoed 367rwhp actual which is good for maybe low 12's?

Was a solid roller. Now HR. 396ci LPE ported LT4 heads/intake/LT headers/ORY/4.56 gears

Nice numbers! And look at those old Lingenfelter heads still getting it done. Makes me miss mine...I never even hit 400rwhp with my old Formula (on a Mustang dyno) and trapped just shy of 122 mph through an A4. That thing should do very well at a lower altitude track.

You had a solid car for sure. These are the only aftermarket heads I've ever ran in the car. They've supported four different cams and I've always been happy with the results.

Was running 27" Hoosiers at the track and shifting at 7100-7200rpm with the SR setup. Gearing down to 4:10's most likely now since it'll be a rare occasion the car sees the track.

Always nice to see how modern hydraulic setups compare to the older solid roller ones.

Congrats on the numbers.

Thanks again everyone. It's my daily right now. It's even crossed my mind to get some snow tires and go have a blast in some parking lots. Getting too old, I reckon because I've also thought about quieting it down a bit. Hopefully now it will run long enough to where I can replenish the funds enough to get a paint job, but then there's always that pistol or rifle I just gotta have...

In my opinion the days of crazy loud street cars are dead.. I wish my car still had the factory muffler on it sometimes.. All I would've done is headers, y pipe and a cut out then..

yes the graph is VERY smooth compared to just about every dyno graph I have seen....perhaps the dyno OP using STP calibration does that, IDK

Otherwise the smooth graph suggest a very well balanced motor and perfect valve train, especially in the high RPM area...and a spot on tune...which would be amazing

Shiat SSR just take it to the track and run it...time slips are a very strong indicator of power

4.56, lol. Bet that ****** is snappy. Nice numbers, that torque could have been drawn using a ruler.

It's not uncommon to end up in 5th gear doing 35/40mph.
There is an 1/8mi track supposedly opening up at some point not too far from where I'm at. Every other place is too far away to make it a day thing. If those "real talk" numbers are accurate I predict low 8's at like 88mph.
As far as the tune went, A/F and timing were good. No knock detected and I still have the LT1 KM.
Thanks again. Enjoying the **** out of this car right now. Haven't touched the bike or my other car in three weeks. Just been driving this everywhere. Keep expecting something to start making noise or leak or smoke or...

I'm sure it is fun. What are you running for tires on the street?
