200k lt1 i just bought a 1994 z28 for cheap needed trans so i plan to do a rebuild on it.
my concern is it has almost 199k on the stock motor, holds 19psi oil pressure when hot. so my question is if i stay up on my oil changes and routine maintenance, can i have fun in this car, i am 18 years old and dont plan on driving like a grandma but at the same time im not going to be driving it like i stole it every time i'm behind the wheel, but if i cant have some fun with this car i'd rather put the trans back in and sell it. what do you guys think? oh yeah and i think it may have been tuned because i gave it about half throttle and it revved in 1st to 6100 so maybe thats a bit much for the engine.

I got one with 215k miles. No leaks. Burns no oil. Pressure was low at idle, but comes up with rpms.
Limit your rpms, shift early -5700- and enjoy.
I have done 3 hard road course events with the car and no issues.
