New never installed 383 shortblock.. .040 over with mahle flat top pistons, forged gm crank, forged scat connecting rods, and the short block came with a .490 lift cam that will come with it as well. $2250 for short block. also have a factory lt1 intake with fuel rails, a pretty much new msd optispark for a cam dowel pin set up came off my 1994 z28, 58mm edelbrock throttle body, lt1 procharger mounting bracket for a p1/d1/f1. message me if youre interested in any of the item.. I may have more stuff than that too. just ask.

OK; stating "a .490 lift cam" tells us almost nothing what-so-ever about the cam's performance parameters.

Can you provide more information? Duration? LSA? Valve opening/closing events?

Also, what would be the compression ratio with a stock sized combustion chamber?

Thanks!

Maybe it's just the shadow, but this one piston looks like there's at least .050 clearance between it and the cylinder wall...
