Alright, I apologize in advance if I missed any previous topics about this, but I'm trying to make a definitive thread about the steps required to install an aftermarket ignition.
I have very little experience with this kind of modification, so if any of these questions seem like they're easy answers, please help me out a bit.

My main questions:

1: What all do I need to install the box? The model I have is a Mallory 6853. Are there any specific connectors I should purchase?

2: Would I see benefits from a new coil? Anything else that I should consider getting to re-up the ignition system?

3: How would I connect a 2-step module to this unit? And what type would I need? My main reasoning for one is to get a more consistent launch at the drag strip.
