It's really convenient to have the w/p on with the engine off especially if you go to the track and have fans wired to a switch as well. You can have the engine cooled down in minutes between runs.

Yep. With my griffin radiator/EWP/manual fan switch/ 160*T/tune I can go from 220* to 180* in under 10min.

I have both my fans and EWP wired to run key on engine off. Problem I found though is I wired my EWP to something that shuts off when I use my high beams. It might have been my fog light source since I took out my fog lights, I thought I had used the AIR relay, but if you find my writeup on wiring an EWP be skeptical because it might be wrong. My fans were already wired to run all the time when I got the car, so I don't know if whoever did that changed something or I screwed up. Either way it was a scary moment going down a dark road high beams on and my CHECK GAGES light comes on, I thought my EWP failed, and I was troubleshooting at 4am with a cell phone light until I figured it out. I don't know what other circuits shut off when high beams are on, but check what you do with high beams after it's wired. And I second that in the staging lanes it's awesome to be able to cool down the car fast with the EWP and fans on engine off.

Thanks for the info. I got it wired up and it works great! I ended up running the trigger wire to the underhood fuse box. I stuffed the wire into the ac/ cruise fuse like ss rrr did. EWP turns on with the ignition in the on position. Bleed the air out of the system before even starting the engine. Car is real close to hitting the road! Ohh and my low speed fans kicked on at 200 i believe. Pcm was tuned by Solomon.

Just wanted to add a little info to this thread for anyone that might search for how to wire up their EWP in the future. As mentioned previously, the AC/Cruise fuse in the under hood fuse box works great to tap into for the signal to your relay. Allows the pump to run with the key on and engine off.

I just wanted to add one tip for making the wiring connection. Buy a cheap piggyback fuse tap and make the connection with that. This will allow you to avoid having to cut into the factory wires or shove your wire into the fuse slot.
