Nitrious On A Bolt-On LT1 Got a wet Zex kit for a real steal could not pass it up installing on my 94 Z28, mods in sig, i am going to be spraying a 100 shot don't plan to go any higher. What is the best plug to use?, and do i need to get a tune for this? I already have a tune, i always read that a stock motor should handle a 100 shot is this right???

NGK was the plug of choice but I think at the time they were all using projected tips. There's threads buried in here about the topic of the most correct plug to use. A wet kit you could probably skate by without a tune but you had better have a wideband installed to monitor air fuel ratios. I have personally witnessed several stock LT1s (one with nearly 200k miles) take up to a 180 shot on regular occasions and the only failures came from user error or the transmission letting go. Others will have different experiences but these were mine.

I googled it and alot of old threads from here came up i got the plug i need with the correct gap and i should be good for tuning.. The car is no a every day driven car could go a week or more sitting, i was planning on doing a HCI, but this route is so much cheaper...
To be safe you need 255 fuel pump, a way to pull timing and run a ngk br6ef (3177). U would pull 4 degrees on 100 shot and 6 on 150. I ran same setup on a 200k mile motor. It ran great with no problems. Ran 11.2s
