Default Need a full gasket kit.

Last fall when i went to put my car into storage my head gasket had went out. I will be removing the motor and will be installing a aftermarket cam in the process. Can someone point me to a full gasket set? Im not sure where to find the best deal. Thanks.

You can get the Felpro front timing cover gasket and seal kit from autozone for $11. It covers the entire front end. For head gaskets I recommend the victor reinz 5898 .026 thick. It will bump up the compression slightly if your running stock pistons and heads. It will help with over all quench making the engine more efficient plus gaining some power. There equivalent to the LT1 impala gasket before they got phased out years ago. Stock is like .041 I believe. I run the victor reinz on my car. Good quality and haven't had an issue yet.

Autozone also sells the Felpro intake manifold gaskets which also comes with the throttle body gasket and fuel injector o-rings.

You can get the head gaskets off Amazon or rockauto for like $50 total. So for like $100 total in gaskets you can essentially have a leak free engine.

Hope that helps.
