Default Bucking after egr delete at light throttle

I have a cammed 95 trans am M6 and have done a few things here and there to it this last month and a half after buying it in january. I've put a new icm, opti, ignition coil and fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump in it. The car is said to be untuned for the mods and i have yet to put in the new plugs and wires for it. I just recently pulled the intake to do egr delete and ever since i've put it all back together, it bucks at very light throttle in first second and third and runs weird when warm as well. The car ran fine before all of this and can't seem to find the issue. Any suggestions?

what intake gaskets did you use when reinstalling the intake? Any kind of backfiring through the intake when it acts up? What kind of block off plate did you use?

Just FYI, it's not necessary to pull the intake to get the EGR valve off.

I used the same intake gaskets that were in there given they looked basically brand new. bought steel block off plates with gaskets with them. Pulled intake to look to see what it was like underneath it and do some cleaning. no backfiring from intake but some backfiring out exhaust when warm and starts to miss. Wondering if maybe i have a leak somewhere? Probably gonna pull intake again this weekend and make sure everything is seal correctly

It's possible your intake is leaking. Spray some soapy water around the intake perimeter with the engine running and see what happens. Engine generates the most vacuum under light throttle/idling so it may be drawing outside air.
What did you torque the intake bolts to? What kind of torque pattern did you use when torquing the intake bolts down?

I was in kinda of a hurry at the time i did it so it's just kind of there right now. Like you said, i'm wondering if i'm developing a vaccum leak in the intake somewhere. I will have it off tomorrow to fix it and post back with the results of sealing it all back up and doing it right.

1. Re-used intake gaskets
2. Didn't follow correct torque sequence
3. Didn't torque to spec
4. Car doesn't run right

Get a service manual, start reading, and follow the directions

and Op since you now need to pull intake again, get the FelPro "printo" seal intake gaskets. Use Permatex Black "ultra" rtv on the china walls. Don't start motor until 24 hrs after installing manifold so RTV can cure

add EGR delete to the "need tune" items for your tuner.

although you could have just left it on....

the car will not run right without a tune for the mods/deletions you did

Yes don't use stock gaskets. They have a tendency to shrink after being heat cycled which loosens intake bolts and causes oil leaks.
Once you have installed the intake properly, with the proper torque sequence then let the car sit for at least 12 hours before starting. This will cure the sealant and odds are you will not have any issue with leaking oil through the sealant.
