Default LT1 swap to 82 camaro Z28

I have an interesting project here. Just doing some research before I actually purchase this car from a buddy. He has an LT1 from a 96 camaro and the 82 currently has a 350 (it seized) paired with the Borg warner T-10.
I would like to keep the 4speed trans but unsure what flywheel I would need to get or even if the one from the 350 would work. The LT1 was from an automatic camaro. Any advice is welcomed. I do not currently know if it is a crate 350 or an older one.
Thanks in advance

Not sure what combination you'd use with that 4-speed, but IIRC they aren't really built to handle a lot of torque. You'd most likely be better off using the auto or upgrade to a BW T-56. A better place to research your questions:

The T5 can't handle any torque. The 82 should have a BW Super T10 and have no issues.

As for the flywheel, any 153 tooth 87+ flywheel will work. You just need to make sure it is for a SBC with a one piece rear main seal. So, if the 350 in the car is a one-piece rear block, then you are good to go.

I second this, the Super T10 should be fine and the 153 tooth 87+ flywheel is what you need!

It has a t-10 in there right now. Is there a way I can identify them?
