If you decide to go with poly bushings I would suggest that you forego the front lower control arm rear bushing. Just stick to rubber in that spot. I'm talking about the vertical bolt. Poly doesn't work well for that location.

I'm currently in the process of rebuilding my entire suspension with stock arms and new Moog bushings with the exception of the torque arm, I'm not touching that yet. I doing a complete in-depth write-up as I complete the work and I already have my part list posted up.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/suspensio...e-upgrade.html

Work on it is moving a little slow at the moment as some work and maintenance on the house and my four other cars is taking a little bit of a higher spot on the priority list right now, but I'm hoping to get some more work done on the lower arms this weekend and I'm shooting to have the entire build done by June 24th.

How difficult was it to replace the rear LCA bushings? Mine are shot - there's some play on the LCA.

Haven't gotten there yet. I got another set of front arms to clean up and press new bushing in before I start tearing the car apart to avoid excessive down time which is what I'm doing right now, but I wasn't able to find another set of rear LCA's to do that with so I'm going to do them when I pull them out of the car.

I'm hoping they're going to be like the front uppers I did where you just need to put in a spacer and use the correct press and receiver on a ball joint press. Of course, condition and rust make a big difference. The front arms I got are from Texas and with the exception of some surface rust from scrapes here and there, they're almost brand new. I'm curious to see what my arms are going to look like when I pull them off as my car is clean but still a northeast car.

I hate to be an enabler and tell people to cheat ( ;-) ) but we have LCAs starting at $85. heavy duty with poly bushings. Saves all that time trying to get bushings in and out etc.

Just another option for yah.

I appreciate the offer but I already got my Moog bushings and I'm not a big fan of poly, at least not for this setup. Plus, I'm waiting until I go 12 bolt to get aftermarket control arms and in that case I'll go adjustable, most likely with roto-joints.

If you arent a fan if poly, youd really not like roto. Just having them on the lcas wouldn't make the ride stiff but would keep the rear centered and resist windup better

I'm not a fan of poly because I'm setting my car up for road racing and autocross and after speaking with a lot of guys who have RR/AX experience in their 4th gens, they told me to stay away from poly to avoid binding, especially on the rear LCA's and vertical bushing on the front LCA. That is why when I go aftermarket arms, I'm going to lean towards roto or rod-ends. That is also why for the stock arms I'm using Moog right now.

I'm also using an adjustable panhard bar with double rod-ends which will keep the rear pretty well centered and I'd be worried that as the rear moves up and down and the panhard moves the rear from side to side that the poly bushings would have an issue letting the arms articulate in that side to side motion that is needed.
