LT1 Transmission
I am in the process of installing a LT1 into my '70 Chevy C10. The LT1 came with a 4L60E that I am dumping for a manual. I plan to use a NP440 (MY16) 4-speed OD. This transmission came from a 80's Chevy truck with a 305.
Before buying the clutch and flywheel, I want to confirm my assumption that I need the LT1 flywheel and the NP440 clutch. Is that correct?
Thanks in advance!

1) What is the max clutch diameter that can be mounted to a 153t flywheel?
2) is the flywheel face to bell housing face dimension the same between Gen I + II 350's?
On #2...if using the same bell housing it would be the same distance from block to face
IDK if the input shaft tip is same as a T56 and use the stock pilot bearing a T56 does. If not you would need to get a bushing machined the size you need

The problem that I ran into is that the bolt circle on the flywheel is 11-5/8" but the pressure plate bolt circle is 12-5/8".
Can I simply buy a new pressure plate for the LT1 applications? Or do I have to get into a mix and match with a Gen I flywheel and starter?

DONE.
