Default New combo electrical issue, need help

I don't ask for help often but I have an odd problem...

Drove my setup in te shop about 4 months ago.. built a custom sheet metal intake, A2w intercooler on a Paxton reverse drive blower, didn't touch anything electrical (none of that changed

installed new battery and when connecting the new battery it kicks my fan on and the dash lights and I have NO way of turning them off... when I turn the key ON I don't hear the pump but it attempted to crank for the second I tried!!

what the hell is going on!???
Electical stuff is not my thing...
any help or ideas??

Did you happen to be doing anything with the wires by the starter? I made that mistake once and the car tried to jump off the jack stands.

Sounds like it could be a ground wire issue (either loose or the wire is broken). Check all of your ground connections. Bad grounds can cause all types of issues. The grounds could have been disturbed when you were having the intake done.

Did everything work properly with the old battery and only change when you put the new battery in?

Does this car have the big square firewall passthrough connector for the harness? Is it nice and tight? I've seen multiple cars where it corroded and shorted internally.

Also seen them get loose and the body sheetmetal cuts through the plastic into the connectors,, makes the car act psychotic.. (Mostly on older trucks.. GM fixed this for the most part.)

ON the driverside is the main harness setup that comes through... I'll look it all over! I'm pretty good at fab work, but when it comes to wiring/electrical I'm very much a newb lol..
i was careful not to mess with any wiring and when I installed the NEW battery fan kicked on and lights wouldn't turn off lol...
dont want to move forward until this is resolved and I'm clueless ha

I was referring to ground wires at coil/ICM on "drivers side" head (front)....basically behind the SC....so if they got disturbed during the install....check those
