Lt1 heads I was wondering I have a lt1,I'm putting cam,springs,rockerspushrods,lifters and some more stuff but if I wanted to port the heads will I be able to use the stock valves and the parts I mentioned that I have....btw cam is cc 503
Plenty of people have their stock LT1 heads ported and retain the stock valves, LE1's are an example of that. You didn't provide much insight into your valvetrain but keep in mind if you mill the heads, run thinner head gaskets, etc., you're going to need to measure for the correct pushrod length. If you already bought pushrods and they happen to be stock length then they will likely be too long if you have work done to the heads. If you haven't already bought pushrods wait until the heads are done, put everything together and measure for proper length and geometry.
