split and inconsistent BLMs at idle
I've ready about a lot of the problems people have had with split BLMs due to the idle passageway for these throttle bodies. I've already drilled the through hole and that helped IAC. I'm thinking my current issues are still idle air flow related. To fix this, I am considering just pressing a tube into the throttle body that will pass into the lower plenum once the throttle body is bolted onto the intake in an effort to keep the air going through the idle passages. The tube won't seal to the hole in the intake though. I'll just have it reach far enough into the intake that the air won't want to somehow come back out and go into the main plenum area.
Thoughts on if this should work? Anyone else done it this way to correct the idle air flow? I have my PCV and catch can plumbed to the port under the throttle body so that method isn't an option for me.
Thanks
