I'd be interested as I've always heard positive comments about the MAC headers.
I'm concerned about the slip fit though. If I'm willing to remove the rag joint / steering shaft to install them can I just weld them up ?

These were the best fitting headers Ive ever installed on any car. I had them on my car for Years! I wish I had kept them and enver went LT.... If I needed headers, these would mine!

Awesome spark plug access, great fitment-y-pipe follows stock y pipe location. Great ground clearance.
I'm hoping to keep them with my 383 build too. They are 1 5/8 primaries so they should flow 500hp without much loss over long tubes.
