Although the AS&M piece is nice, you have to work with it to get your idle good.

You do know that the AS&M TB does not have a special "stay clean" feature......right?

The billet body is much, much easier to keep clean then a cast Tb that collects grime in every dimple and ridge. I have ran ported stockers, Summit/Professional Products cast aftermarket, and AS&M and the AS&M was a work of art.

Performance is obviously the same, and it needed the same IAC drill hole as the PP throttle body did, so is the dramatically higher price worth it just for looks? Depends who you ask.

I have a really nice one for sale.
I just had it rebuilt and repolished by AS&M.
