Brake Fluid-Standard or Synthetic?
Doing a brake overall and will fully flush/bleed the brakes. I have normally just used DOT 3 conventional fluid but when I did a new clutch and hydraulics a few years ago I used Valvoline Dot 3-4 Full Synthetic Brake Fluid.
It has remained clear amber vs the darker brown/black conventional brake fluid got in my old clutch hydraulics
Yes I do bleed brakes and clutch hydraulics every few years as SOP...
Thinking the Synthetic blend resists moisture infusion better than conventional
Thoughts??

There's no reason not to use the DOT 3-4 Full Synthetic. That's what I use in my non-track vehicles. The "synthetic" part is just marketing the buzzword, but DOT 4 has slightly better dry and wet boiling points than DOT 3. No, I wouldn't expect it to resist moisture absorption any better.
For others reading: avoid silicone brake fluid (DOT 5); that stuff's only for museum cars.
