Default computer gremlins with stall

A freind had a shifting problem in a 94 comaro after installing a 10 inch 3500-3800 stall and 3.73 gears. trying to fix the problem with a 96 obd2 computer but now it gets into wot mode the timing and fuel goes eradic.
Is there some kind of part that needs to be changed besides knock sensor?

WHo ever has had these problems, what did you do to fix it?

never heard of converting obdi to obdii, it goes the other way

besides the knock sensor, i think that obdii has a crank trigger sensor, not sure if there is anything else.

have you tried going to either pcmforless or madwolf for tunning. my car is obdi converted and took a couple of tries with pcmforless but we finally got the car to shift

An OBD-II computer will not work with a '92-'95 LT1... I've never seen it done before, though.

Actually, it's quite common to swap over and swap the harness to get around stall gremlins

You can convert from OBD1 to OBDII with few/no complications if done properly.
