Thinking about putting my Ls3 motor in my 96 Caprice.......My Ls3 is in my Mustang and has a carburetor and front mount distributor and a aftermarket one wire alternator.......So if i put it in my Caprice then how do i get power to the computer so that my lights and key etc etc works ??

The computer does not control any of your lights, wipers, turn signals, etc. It only controls the pcm and the items associated with the engine/security (Body control module/anti theft, fans, fuel pump, air pump, etc). You can drop that combo right in your car and it should run fine with minimal wiring to the new combo (starter, fans, bypassing anti theft).
