Default Mail Order Tunes and logging

Hey guys, everyone out there with a mail order tune. Are you logging so your tuner can fine tune things and if so. What method are you using?

This program is great for logging: http://fbodytech.com/eehack-2/download-eehack/ I my opinion it is the best datalogging program for our cars and it is free. I would check with your tuner though to see if they use it. A lot of the guys that have been around for a while still use TTS Datamaster which I am not even sure if you can get anymore.

Use this for editing your .bin files http://www.tunerpro.net/

If you do enough research you can easily do all your tuning yourself with EEhack and Tunerpro.

Unfortunately for me I have a 97 OBDII car. I might just wait until it finish up my turbo kit and of with a TQ Coil Near Plug system just for ease of tuning support. I was just curious if anyone on a OBDII found an easy way to log. I wish I had more time to research but my time is limited these days as I'm working myself to death getting ready to buy a house. I have a Race Car and the T/A that I haven't really touched in months because of this. All my posts are from my phone ATM and research time is limited as I'm a Race Car Mechanic by trade and we're getting ready for the next season. 11-15 hour days are draining me.. I know these questions have been asked before and I really appreciate the community for all their help 👍

Have a look at ScanXL Pro with GM enhanced parameters. I've moved from Autotap to it. I like it as you can setup custom logging histograms much like EFI Live or HP Tuners.

The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't have a dedicated 5V input(aux input) for the NGK AFX. I think it does support several brands of wideband, but not the NGK AFX....which is considered the most accurate wideband for the money. There may be a way to get it into the software that I'm not aware of, but my plans are to use the AC pressure port input on the LT1 PCM. That may have it's own headaches that I have not run into yet.

I've got it all working, but haven't touched it in quite a while. I need to get back to it. I've got some write up on it at the end of this thread.

I think Scantool.net will have the best price on it.

Defiantly going to be picking this up next pay check. Would you recommend the OBDII Link Hardware. I already have a wireless OBDII Reader, but It is unknown if it will be compatible with this software. The one I do have is a cheaper one but it offer both WIFI and Bluetooth connectivity.

I got the USB/WiFi module(may be discontinued now). I didn't mess with the WiFi much, but if I recall correctly, it had a slower update rate than using the USB cable. I'm not sure how it would perform with bluetooth.
