Default Codes after throttle cable install

I just installed a new throttle cable and went for a test drive and I'm getting the blow codes also imoortant not I did burn a spark plug wire so I will be replacing that but I don't think that would cause the codes (could be wrong(

DTC P0100 MAF Sensor Ckt. Insufficient Activity
DTC P1508 Idle Speed Low - Idle Air Control (IAC)

The car is going to the tuner Friday and just want to make sure I don't need to adjust or replace anything. There is a small amount of slack but not enough to get a zip tie in there at for a spacer and the car does go WOT when I checked with someone pushing the pedal all the way down.

is the MAF plugged in and installed the correct direction?

Given you replaced throttle cable ...sounds like you need to adjust it so there is no slack

Throttle cables installed correctly do not require "spacers or zip ties" to work right

Hold off on any dyno tuning until you get this and the burnt plug wire fixed

It's a straight cable to the pedal I don't think I installed it incorrect it's pretty straight forward. Any ideas what to check in case I did mess up the install? When I say there is slack in the cable there is enough to pull the end (pedal side) less than a quarter inch.
