Default Those who relocated alternator to bottom

Just recently did this on my 95 z28 with the pc kit or something like that from nc... well anyways the harness that plugs into the alternator is too short... did anyone have this problem where they had to extended the wires or do they make a harness extention

Just extend it yourself with some wire, i think it's 12 or 14 gauge, so use the same or larger. Chop, solder, and heat shrink the new length in, takes 10 minutes.

Yeah that's no big deal just wondering if anyone who ever used this kit had to extended the wires. It was pcm kit from nc..

Thanks... yeah I was curious cause the kit on their website mentioned nothing about extending the wires.. which is no big deal..

Or just remove the excite wire from the main loom and run it down below with starter/knock sensor.

Odds are, you will need to extend it a tad though.
