Default Autometer 6159 Boost/Vac Gauge

Hey guys I am about to buy the Autometer Cobalt 6159 Electrical Boost/Vac gauge and just wanted to confirm that the MAP provides in the kit (2249) will work with my LT1 and 24x ignition system without any issues!? Does it totally replace the stock MAP or just piggy back onto it?

Thanks guys!!

Most boost gauges will be ran off a T, and not change anything with the factory MAP to keep the stock computer happy.

But this one is an electrical gauge, not a mechanical boost gauge! It comes with a new MAP sensor!

Correct. I used an electrical boost gauge as well on one of my boosted cars, ran the included map off a plastic "T" and some vacuum hose.
