Flexplate for 383 stroker
so my 383 build is coming together and i am now deciding what stall im gonna be using and while i was thinking about that i thought about my flexplate also.. any suggestions for a better flexplate or will the stock flexplate work? thanks

stock will work IF you remove the welded on weight...although I would have a machine shop confirm it is zero balance with the weight removed
Your 383 is very likely "internal" balanced so you would need a "neutral" aka "zero" balanced Flexplate
Nothing wrong with stepping up to a SFI rated flexplate though
confirm with your builder if the motor is now internal balanced
