Got a terrific deal on my M6 94 Formula, but I am currently doing routine maintenance and am cleaning up the entire wiring harness (replacing broken connectors and torn loom). The alternator in the car isn't OEM, but certainly works in the car, it has ONE red wire spliced into the connector with 3 other wires not connected.
The AC connector nearby is also jacked, with the black and green wire being cut and spliced into a resistor of some sort. I cut it all apart and found that there are TWO GREEN wires that I have no clue what they go to.
Someone with a properly wired car please help. I want to put the harness back to factory or as close as possible. Essentially i need to know what to do with those two extra green wires. Perhaps they are the same wire doubled back on itself? I don't know but somebody with a unmolested car will.
I had assumed (stupidly) that the shoebox diagrams wouldn't be able to help me. But sure enough i found what i need on shoebox.com after your suggestion. Basically I cut apart the AC clutch diode without realizing it.
