Leaking Regulator

Leaking Regulator 97 F-Body LT1
putting the top end together after fixing a head gasket.
Cant seem to get the 5/16 line (return) that plugs into the regulator to quit leaking.
Have tried almost every oring possible.
Any ideas?
Basically it is a flared line that somehow seals against the regulator. SHBOX has a great pic and it calls for a washer, but no luck finding a part number.
Have purchased universal metric and std o ring size kits (viton and others) and no go.
