The last time I inquired to a guy who is good at dynotuning and building race engines, he quoted me a few hundred. I am thinking $400 maybe $500 if memory serves me correctly. I never got around to the tune but down the road my baby bird is going to need one, especially with intake manifold swap plans.

Default steep price

west bend tube shop wanted 1000.00 just to bring the car in. not paying that much. I was looking into sending data to a mail tuner and they send it back. have you ever tried that.

$1000 is awfully high, and just to bring the car in. The guy I was referring to gave me an honest quote, although my tune was not going to be a racing tune so maybe that is why it was lower.

I would shop around. No, I haven't ever done a mail-in tune nor would I want one. I would rather take my car in and have a shop actually run it on a dyno and tune it as necessary for my rather mild set-up that I have in mind down the road.

we have looked around and we are not looking for a race tune just a normal tune for all the upgrades made. At this point the car runs about 10 minutes and then the plugs get wet from too much fuel. So we just need this taken care of so we can drive it down the road. But cant find anybody in southeastern wisconsin to do this for the normal price of 400 to 500 dollars. Should only take a couple of hours .

Mail order tunes are fine, from the right tuner. $150-$350 depending on who you use
