Turn signal issue help please 97 z28 is what’s the issue is on both front turn signal bulbs don’t work. Car running ( headlights off and no turn signals on) I have the right front bulb light up bright (see pic). When the headlight switch on the bright light goes out and the marker lights light up as they should ( see pic). When I turn he turn signal lever right or left no turn signals on the front but the rear turn signal light signal work. And the indicators on the dash in blinking normal. I’ve taken the sockets apart on the front and cleaned them. Also at each turn signal socket on the front I’m getting 10v at the socket on the marker light wire and when the turn signal lever is depressed left or right I'm getting 12.5v on the blinker wire when blinking (Koeo) I’ve put in 3057na bulbs and 3157na bulbs and no blinkers on the front. I’ve checked and swapped the hazard relay and turn signal relay and nothing. I’ve jumpered the turn signal relay only thing lighting up is the rear turn signal lights. I’m at a loss. Any help would be great
Daytime running lights can cause excessive heat on the sockets. But with the voltage you stated you are getting it doesn't sound as though you have a short anywhere. Maybe the turn signal indicator on the column is a little jacked up?

The turn signal socket on your driver's side, does it appear melted at all? When I was having problems with my front sockets I had to replace them and the problem was solved. The one socket was so badly burned that it may have resulted in an incomplete circuit given how it looked.

Well I found the issue with my turn signals. I was getting all the appropriate voltages at both sockets checking from ground at the socket and direct ground from the battery. Just when I plugged the bulb in and put a load on the circuit the bulb wouldn’t light up. After doing some research and possibly being mislead by the internet I found the day time running module messed up. I read articles about unplugging one connector and bypasses the module but didn’t work. After reading a schematic I removed the 2 light blue and w dark blue wires from the other connector and tied them together ( color accordingly) and I have working turn signals now. No more day time running lights.
