Iac delete question

Iac delete question So, I've been fighting the iac on my 355 cc306 with a 52mm bbk TB. Been doing alot of reading on drilling the TB and what not.
but I was curious IF I was to delete it all together, what kind of issues could come up? I'm assuming I'd definitely have to adjust the tps by opening up the holes.
I guess I'm just curious, because my car is so bare bones I thought maybe it'd be easier to deal with. No a/c, no power steering, and a manual trans.
I'm prepared for the judgment. Lol.
my last project car was a manual swap lexus ls400 with 150shot. I deleted the iac on it, and it actually made the car much nicer to drive. This is the reason I thought about doing it on the LT1

You’d have to try and use timing to help it bring the idle down slowly. If I were you I’d set the idle to idle without the iac at around 600-700 and use the iac for the rest. Your counts should be real low. The air passage is probably too small btw.

Yeah, it's just an idea I was playing with. I have the throttle body cracked open a little bit now to get it to idle ok. The issue I've been having is after its warmed up, when letting off the throttle it will idle really high sometimes. I've been messing around with the idle in the tune a little bit but I'll have to take a look at the counts.
question..... if I currently did not have my tps set right, could that effect my dfco? I've also noticed while cruising sometimes when letting off the gas it continues to dump fuel. I wonder if all of my issues right now are due to the tps not being adjusted for the TB being open a little?

Mine will idle just fine at around 750-800. It's just when it's hot, it will idle high sometimes after putting the clutch in. If I tap the gas one time it will drop back down to normal. I've checked to make sure nothing is sticking. Pretty sure it's the iac/tune
