HELP identifying LT1 aluminum heads?

Thumbs up HELP identifying LT1 aluminum heads?



J S 03 14
Ok so I just picked up a 97 SW6. Its my first time with these years so sorry if this is a stupid question but are these the stock heads? The guy said it had some performance parts and Im not sure what's been done to the car. I'm just trying to figure out whats it got. Thanks. These are the only numbers I could find on them and I've looked online with no luck.

not sure about they heads, deffinatly look cast. the rockers are scorpion roller rockers by the looks of it

I get nothing when I look up those numbers and they look kinda different they all the google images of stock heads I see, so idk..

Is that an lt4 intake?
Not sure about the heads.

They look very similar to some AFR heads.

Yeah thats kinda what I was thinking but I wasn't to sure.
And yes they look similar to those heads. Are those yours? If so what are the specs on em?

That does look like an LT4 intake because of the extra meat around the ports. On the passenger side next to the 4th bolt back from the front is the casting number, Lt4 is 12550631. Also get a mirror and look at the other end of the heads for markings. They will say AFR if they are.

Not mine. I found them searching for images of LT4 heads.
The one in the image I posted were described as "Pre Eliminator AFR LT4 heads"
if they are afr they should have the specs on the end, maybe in the back of the head like this:

Awesome, ill definitely check in those areas. And yes Im sorry its supposed to be a LT4.
